I'm trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle dark chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright chocolate malt base with subtle vanilla and hazelnut presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
