Hartsfelder Helles bottle poured into pilsener glass.
A: Pours a hazy honey gold with a 1 finger foamy white head that lingers and tries to lace.
S: Sweet malt, hops, and yeast. Some sweet scents of fruit.
T: Pretty tame and easy drinking. The malt and hops are present with some wheat aftertaste.
D: Carbonation is low/moderate for this style, good mouth coating, crisp, and refreshing.

On $3 special at Mirabell, apparently imported by a company in the neighborhood. Sell by: June 3 2010
Served in a small Würzburger Hofbräu goblet, this pils had a finger width of foam when poured. It was a pale pastel yellow, very light. A few spotty bits of foam remained in the glass.
Nondescript grassy aroma, nothing especially fresh, but not offensive either.
Dry with a bitter hop bite, it starts out crisp and is dry in the finish. Some cracker flavor, and light apple sweetness. Grassy hop presence is light. It was a day past its freshness date, but showed little sign of age. Light and easy drinking, more of a session pils.
