West coast goodness. Simcoe up front with a few other hop varieties. Grassy, a light piney note, mild bitterness on the finish. Enjoyed on tap at the source.

Another selection from the 2024 dipa festival. This was the people's choice winner at the single ipa festival, so they came in with some acclaim. This one didn't quite reach such great heights as their Nelson ipa, but let's give it a whirl anyways.

Golden pour, looks the standard beer color. 1/3" white head. Decent clarity. The aroma leans on the Centennial and Mosaic divvying up the nose in two different directions. There's the sweet berries, soft guava and the weed like notes. Smells nice.

The taste brings a heavier bitterness of Simcoe and Centennial bringing a green like hop aspect of trees and leaves. There doesn't seem to be too much perceptible in regards to the Mosaic at this point. Mouthfeel goes harder for the bitterness than expected. Not sure what the fancy Simcoe has going for it, some of the newer Simcoe brought more of an icy cold wintergreen like vibe than the old cat piss derp discussion of homebrewers from yesteryear. Very easy to drink despite being a double ipa.

Sweet piney and tropical hoppy, slightly malty, Simcoe hoppy and a hint of Mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet and piney hoppy bitter finish. Yum! This is super crisp and clean...well done!
