This is an astonishing and, to me, very tasty brew. As it says literally on the tin, this is a blueberry, chilli and Szechuan pepper-infused beer.

The colour is an opaque mahogany and there is scant head. The aroma to my unrefined nose is Szechuan pepper, plum, and lillypilly, and to be honest, is not super appetizing. But the flavour! Up front there is green chilli and the pepper, with a full mouthfeel. The blueberry is less upfront, but supports the spice flavours very successfully — there is a lot of length, finishing up on the slightly bitter and herbaceous chilli note. Despite all the unusual flavours, it still expresses a solid malty beeriness.

It's crazy, but it works, very nicely! Definitely would drink again if I can find another.
