Purchased this beer at the brewery during the Christmas holiday. Part of a three beer package including a straight up tmavy speciál and another spiced version (to be reviewed later).
Poured into a tulip glass. Clear dark brown color with a brief effervescent brown head and light lacing. The star anise shines at first in this beer. The complexity of the other warm spices come through as it warms - don’t drink too cold. Warm spicy finish. Really nice beer.
