Pours a clear bright amber color with plenty of foam in the Rodenbach goblet. Rich and malty but not overly sweet. Tangy and spritzy on the tongue but less acidic than many of these DIPAs. Serious citrus aromas and flavors. Orange peel, mango, and a touch of candied grapefruit.
Hops are listed as Loral, Citra, and Simcoe. Overall this is a well-balanced strong hoppy brew. Pleasingly substantial with a welcome but modest bitter aftertaste. From the 32 oz crowler purchased from the Laguna Hills brewery.
