poured from a 16 oz can. the carbonation seems off, maybe a canning defect. taste is on point though - strong bitterness with balanced buttery and bright notes altogether hazy and easily dank.

Reeking havoc on the hazy trends, GameCraft Brewing is keeping bitterness alive to much the glee of traditional hop heads but to spell certain doom to the haze. ...at least for a session or two.

Bloom Doom sets sail with a fairly bright honey-gold pour. As the bright and spicy hop scent of citrus, tropical and stone fruit drift from the froth, a grassy and green perfume adds freshness and a hint of the dank. Generally sweet with a hint of honey and bread crust, the grain profile is simple and succinct.

But the flavors that captivate the middle palate hangs on those full Idaho 7 and Citra flavors that carry the citrusy flavors of orange, pink grapefruit and mango into a fruitier direction. Additional flavors of apricot and pineapple come to mind before the ale nose dives into a bitter, resinous, peppery and cannabis accented direction.

Medium bodied and finishing dry, the beer's West Coast influence is evident. With alcoholic suggestions of light gin and botanical herbs, Bloom Doom trends long with bitterness while a floral perfume presides over the session.

Golden yellow brew with adequate foam in the Troubadour tulip. Hops are mainly Idaho 7 with "a little bit of Citra for support." IBUs are rated at 80. Really tasty flavors of melon and mixed citrus. Aromatic with mango and orange peel. Medium body, prickly on the tongue with a moderate acidity.

Clean and strong, plenty bitter, but not overwhelming. Fine for sipping. Classic "West Coast" style with the rush of fruit followed by the dark notes and a touch of astringency. From the 12 oz can purchased at the Brewery restaurant.
