Clear reddish brown with plenty of foam in the tall Jack Daniels glass. Light body with spritzy mouthfeel. Aroma of roasted malt and alfalfa. Taste is weak tea and cola. A touch of burnt sugar and very faint bitter aftertaste. Sweet malt with that oxidized sort of edge.
This seems to be a style I really don't care for. But for those who do, it's clean and well made in every way. Goes down easy but I find it tiresome. At least Negra Modelo, poor as it is, doesn't have as much of that flavor. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewery restaurant.
