Aroma of pear, cereal, and flowery hops. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. Tastes lemony with a touch of butter, cake batter and just a hint of vanilla. Slightly sweet and more like a Single version of a Tripel. I don't know how they get the Belgian flavor since the yeast is listed as L-07, an American Lager yeast. Maybe it's the Dingemans Pilsner malt from Belgium? The hops are Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfrüh.
In any case this is quite delicious. There is a nice burr of hops in the aftertaste with a hint of bitterness. If it weren't brewed with Lager yeast, it would be a Belgian blonde ale in category of taste. A puzzle well worth trying. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Brewery taproom.
