Quantum Brewery strives to be as ecologically sustainable as we possibly can, constantly seeking opportunities for every by-product to be transformed into another product – spent grain biscuits, spent yeast fertiliser, mega worm farms are just some of our plans. We’d love you to come and share your thoughts and ideas with us as we explore the exciting options.
Or simply come and enjoy an old factory experience in our spruced up Quantum Brewery, sample our smooth beers and relax at the mezzanine bar overlooking the brewery operations.

Nestled in the backstreets of the seasonally pumping town of Moruya on the New South Wales south coast, Quantum Brewery is housed in an old cheese factory. Entry to the establishment takes you through a small seating area crowded with chairs and tables, to a staircase that leads up to the left before opening to a landing that gives a panoramic view of a forest of stainless kettles, fermenters and brite tanks below. The bar is also located on the landing, tucked away in a small alcove.
The beer offering is small at the moment, with just four options on tap. Pizza, cheese boards and other small delicacies are available from the kitchen, as well as a range of wines and craft ciders. On the day we visited, the lone serving person seemed a little overwhelmed by the crowd but strived earnestly to keep up with the pace of business.
While this place doesn't have the glitz and rocking craft sensibilities of some of the other local breweries in the region, it delivers tasty local beers in a market that is screaming for more local options in the summer months when the area is inundated by tourists and day-trippers. With a little more polish, this place could become a local gem.
Cheers!
