Copenhagen 8/6 2023. 44 cl can from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Åben's usual spil label in black with wisps of smoke.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, roasted and malty odor mingling with salty and sourish notes. Sweet roasted malts, chocolate and toffee. Salted caramel and a light touch of sour milk.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Potent without being boozy.
