Copenhagen 6/6 2023. 44 cl can from Østerbro, Vin & Spiritus. Østerbrogade. Åben's usual split label in a blue, green and cloudy version.
Pours opaque, almost hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma îs medium intense with a mild odor of sweet Stone fruit mingling with more prominent citric scent. Sweet peach and nectarine. Grapefruit and lime. Tart.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Nice, bitter and intense.
