Munich Style Dunkel Lager
Decoction mashed for a rich malt complexity. Dark Munich malts bring hints of chocolate and caramel, without being roasty or overly sweet, balanced by Noble, Spalt, Tettnang and Hallertau hops.

Had on tap. Somewhat clear brownish amber pour with an off-white head with thick bands of lacing. Toasty malt with cocoa, caramel, and brown bread in the nose. Taste adds minor hop bitters and orange zest to the finish. Feel is earthier, but doesn't thin out. Smooth and malty. Simpler but solid

Tap at Blue Jay. Poured a clear, brown color with a small, khaki colored head of foam. It left some thin lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, some light coffee notes and caramel. Sweet malt taste with a coffee-like bitterness.
