Great beer bar/brewpub in a city that clearly emphasizes white wine (Rhine River Valley). A large space that's well-designed and quite cozy considering how big it is. On a super cold mid-January day, this was a welcome respite from the frigid winter. Friendly, young folk working the tables and they all speak English. Draft beer options are numerous and even a few special tank beer options are available. The Czech Pils from the tank is absolutely world-class and worth the price in liters. Great food menu, as well, with the traditional flammkuchen as a delicious choice and seemingly others being just as good. There are also some regional wine pours for those who aren't into beer. The Alsatian white wine choices are great, with the Riesling being particularly tasty. Bathrooms are clean. In summary, a fantastic place to stop for a drink or a meal in Strasbourg.
