Strawberry blonde with platinum blonde on top, a fairly solid head with none too shabby retention. Streams of champagnesque bubbles make this Polish pauper's pilsner a pretty picture. But the smell is all nickel and creamed corn, save for a hint of vanilla (?), and the taste is not much better - quick and dry, with a flash of watery grain flavor that comes and goes in an instant, riding a wave of sour fizz. However, the alcohol is quite subdued, which is surprising considering there isn't much here for it to hide behind. Broadly speaking, this isn't a good beer, but among Polish 7% ABV lagers that cost £1, it may be as good as it gets.

Pours straw yellow to light golden with a bubbly head that vanishes to a disappearing wisp.
The smell is grainy with a slight touch of noble hops - slight cedar.
The taste is very sweet, grainy, a bit husky. Fusel alcohol shows in a malt-liquor way. Sweetness has little to balance it, though it doesn't become overly sweet because of carbonation and some alcohol lending some dryness in the finish. Very little noticeable hop presence.
The feel is on the shallow side, though not too fizzy. Light-bodied despite a slight boozy kick , with a bit of slickness.
Rather bland - not too harsh - Drinks okay for a beer that is rather sweet, rather bland and doesn't do that much to mask the alcohol.
My bottle (which has a black label, but otherwise looks the same) says 6.0 (maybe they lowered it a bit).

500ml bottle from a Xmas gift sampler from my friend Kris, a bottle hauled back from Poland. Thanks!
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 3/4" white head above the clear light golden brew. Head is lasts well for the style, with adequate to good lacing. Aroma is light, a bit adjuncty-seeming, with some spicy hoppiness. Taste is sweet upfront, with a somewhat harsh bitterness coupled with an alcohol warmth. Reminds me of some American malt liquors. Mouthfeel and drinkability are just not great, this brew seems harsh in most aspects.
