From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear yellow color with a very nice white pilsner style head that lasts. The nose gets some grassy hops and light malt. The mouth follows with a nice German pilsner bitterness followed by a pleasant maltiness and a mild lightly bitter aftertaste. `

A very solid, smooth, enjoyable pilsner. It's always fun trying these smaller, local beers in different German towns. Apparently no other BeerAdvocate members have had a beer in Bad Mergentheim, since I'm the first to add and review this one.
