Light and hazy straw, Harvest is cast in a soft yeasty glow all lying underneath a cottony swath of foam. As a distinctive scent of orchard fruit, citrus and spice swirl on the nose, the taste opens with fresh breadiness, hay and a hint of sugar cookie.
The flavors shift back to the fruit and spice as soon as the bubbly ale hits the middle palate. Dry citrus flavors of lemon and orange meet pear, pineapple and grape before a rebuttal of spice brings white pepper, vinous white wine and a hint of clove. While finishing with a hay-like bitterness, fine grassiness wraps up the balance.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the flavors lacks intensity but makes up for it with drinkability and ease- perfect for those long shows with those unexpected opening bands.
