Almost black in colour, the liquid is cloudy, with no translucence or reflections. Beige foam, high and persistent, small bubbles coat the glass, slightly circulating.
Aroma: sweet, chocolatey, then roasted, coffee, earthy and ashy. Over time, as the liquid temperature increases, the aroma takes on accents of fruit, dry wine, spice and herbs. The aroma is complex and multidimensional.
Taste is dry, coffee, roasted with a hint of light acidity in the background.
Saturation medium, although an effervescent sensation remains in the mouth. Body medium downwards. Texture rather rough. Aftertaste long, bitter and sour with a more pronounced bitterness on the finish.
