A head liked whipped cream. Slow to die and it leaves chunky lace on the glass. Hazy, not cloudy, Light amber color.
Strong, stale brewery floor aroma. Distracting. Almost like an over-yeasted Saison. Definitely not what I was expecting in an IPA.
The flavor matches the smell. This may be a batch that went astray. I’m reminded of one of my infected homebrews. I’ll definitely try this again and alter my score if this was indeed the exception. The other beers at this new brewery have been quite good.
