Darker brown where light barely passes through the center of the broth. Dense darker beige head. Wide streaks for lace.
Chalky with a strong Baker’s chocolate smell. Very smooth.
Initially, I thought this might be a mislabeled stout. While I’m certain there’s a touch of black patent malt, the rest is lighter. Dark unsweetened chocolate and burnt toast round out the flavor. Dry shorter aftertaste. In short, a really good Porter.
