This West Coast IPA features a crisp edge of bitterness, with a orange glow reminiscent of (but not to the full extent of) the classic American IPA of the early aughts. Featuring Mosaic, Simcoe, and Nelson Sauvin hops, this brew has a hop aroma of grapefruit peel and mango, with notes of orange and guava on the palate.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a three finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus and dank hops, orange and light mixed fruit. Flavor is pale and lightly caramel malt, dank, citrus and piney hops, orange, grapefruit, earthy pine, light stone fruit and some catty dankness. Good citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A solid West Coast style IPA, mostly citrus and dankness, but with light pine and mixed stone fruit to liven up the flavor. Quite fine hop profile with interesting flavors coming and going throughout the taste and a to-style citrusy finish. I guess this brewery is going to be producing beer in themed series, mostly one-offs (this part of the current Tarot adjacent series). Not a typical idea for a brewery, but this is a quite well brewed and flavorful IPA, if they keep up this level of brewing, I'm interested to see what they come up with.
