I previously had some GVBC Xmas brew that was irresistible so now Boston Mills bar has the stout. I'm a fan. This is a placeholder as the abv is 5.7 not 11. I spoke with the brewer and he said they cut the abv. Just a tad!
It pours with nice body. It only smells of the barrel process a little, but other roasty tastes and smells shine through. The finish is clean, for a stout but it doesn't feel thin.
Highly recommended. I seek out GVBC tap when skiing at Boston Mills.

Under a wavy tan head of moderate height is an 8 ball black body with very thinly perceptible clear red edges.
A suggestion of bananas Foster pairs well with a huge, spicy, peppery whiskey backed by a chocolate-caramel base.
Though bitingly fine, it comes to a semi-dry finish, where a hint of sassafras or anise comes out in the exhale.
