We had this just before Christmas at the Boston Mills bar. I'm back for more runs down Buttermilk and North Bowl and another of these.
It opens a nice brown ale and clean. The aroma gives hint of holiday enhancements and the taste confirms a great balance of malt and spices. It goes down nicely.
Recommended. I hope to sample more from this brewer. Now to ski between all the kids.

Beautifully clear red-amber with a moderately short but dense khaki head.
Oh dang, that actually is a Christmas beer, which is not my bag. Mulled cider and spicy spruce tips come to a quite drying and even chewy, scratchy finish before a bit of an amber ale backing is revealed.
I'm sure most normal people would love this one.
