Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot with three fingers of frothy white head that leaves some puffy lace left on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, pineapple, apricot, citrus and orange peel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - moderate citrus and tropical hops upfront. The pineapple, apricot, citrus and orange peel follow suit. The bready malts and earthy yeast finish off the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A superb NE IPA from the folks at Nelson. They impressed with their Prince of Darkness now they've concocted a highly flavorful NE IPA. Worth a try from these guys!
