cool beer, cool place, nice people, good vibes, we had a blast in here when passing through town. this is a rock solid helles lager, served on the side pull faucet which i love, makes such a nice and enduring head and gives such softness to the beer, perfect for a style like this. beautiful sunny golden colored brew, foam mustache on each swig, good carbonation. the aroma is subtle, slightly floral from what must be noble hops, fresh smelling european pils malt, and an appropriate almost honey sweetness to it, subtle on the lager yeast but authentic anyway. the flavor is a little more robust than the nose, grain driven but in excellent balance, some graham cracker character and a bready thing when the yeast hits, not as sweet as it smells but definitely still with a soft floral aspect from the hops, low on the bitterness but its still crisp on the swallow. this is smooth and hearty but still light to drink, its infinitely satisfying and exceedingly well made. its thoughtful and smart and i was very impressed. maybe my favorite beer we drank in here, but they are doing well across the board. recommend checking this place out, great beer list, they make cider too, looking forward to visiting again!
