clean and pleasant german pils here, well lagered, these guys have a number of fine lagers working at the moment. this is golden, clear, bright, and hoppy as they go, bitter in a good way, befitting of the style and still really balanced and drinkable, dont sleep on working hands! to me the nose on this is floral, very much obviously noble hops but not spicy in that way some can be, instead its more springy and kind of gentle, even though its bold, if that makes sense, a nice leading aroma and indeed flavor in this. the malt has some up front sweetness, is definitely european, and the freshness stands out, biscuity in the flavor and sets up the hops well. the bitterness is mostly late, and it doesnt linger, snappy on the swallow, love how fresh it all presents as being. good carbonation on it, warms up better than a lot of these too and the hops get more expressive. overall a flavorful drinker that seems like a good cornerstone of their lineup. we had been meaning to check this place out for awhile but kept not being able to when passing through, so it was awesome to finally get in and spend some time. really enjoyable hang.
