330cl bottle (blue label) served at a cafe near the Arashiyama River in Kyoto, Japan. Served in a small 200cl glass.
Poured a medium-lighter yellow body, one finger white head with good retention. Clear bodied, fair amount of lacing. Smells of bread, a bit of minerals, slightly metallic, small amount of noble hops. Flavour is similar; minerals, bread and mild earthiness and floral notes to it. Not too complicated or interesting. Fairly average. Mouthfeel is thinner bodied, but refreshing on a warmer fall day in Kyoto. It accomplishes the purpose. It's a decent beer that is refreshing and delivers exactly what you expect, but not a yen more.
