Quick notes. 2024 variant. Shared by a co-worker, notes from 03/25/25
A&S: no head even when poured with vigor. Pitch black beer. The smell consists of a very heavy bourbon. Smells like there was a lot of bourbon left in the barrels when they put the beer in. The smell is not super complex, but enjoyable.
T&M: The taste is more complex than the aroma. It contains, chocolate, bourbon, and dark fruits. It was much sweeter in than you would expect by the aroma. The mouth feel is heavy with low carbonation and leaves legs.
Overall: The beer was better than I expected. The thing that was odd about this beer was that the cork was super chewed up. The only cause I could think of was from the bourbon. Never seen that before to this extreme.
