Growler poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and
S: Vanilla, sweet cream, juicy zesty citrus with the orange really leading the show, underlying tropical and stone fruit, a touch grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Bright juicy citrus, big time orange plus a little lemon lime and grapefruit, solid hit of vanilla, underlying tropical and stone fruit, mango, peach, apricot, passion fruit, a touch of pine, light grassy and floral notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft and creamy.
O: I first tasted this one when my buddy won a home brew contest with it, and then won it again the next year. That eventually led to him and his partner deciding to start this brewery. Fast forward a couple of years and now I can snag it on tap, and it's just as good as I remember. I know it's a labor of love and a half to make, but damn it's worth it. Outstanding stuff.
