Crisp clear golden body with a minimal head that recedes to the standard vague fade and decent lacing.
Nose is likewise very clean with sweet hops and dimming malts girded by a copper undercarriage that lifts and buoys the whole thing along.
Clean is once again the first adjective that comes to mind here, as I get a deliberate fall layering of russet flavours moving across the tongue in an orderly fashion. A mild floral sweetness is met with a steady pale malt base to create an incredibly solid quintessential 'beer.' The finish gives itself over to a bitter lingering finish.
As someone who abashedly doesn't know nearly as much about the brewing process etc as I would like, the overriding impression I get from this beer is that it is one that is exceptionally well crafted. None of the individual characteristics really jump out at me, but it just reeks of competence and quality of execution. At least that's the impression that I get.
Much appreciation to @Tongorad for sending this along in his Monkey Knife Fight Box for NBS BIF #4.
Thanks Michael!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
