Tall can, w/o canning date or other freshness information that I can find.
Typical NEIPA presentation, hazed under a fine bubble moderate cap and leaving nice looking fine and scattered webs of lacing.
Muted sniff with a just a hint of fruits being picked up by my challenged sniffer.
On the palate I again get a hint of ripe fruits, but mostly what I am experiencing is tea infused dry hop notes and a bit of cat piss.....decent but this NEIPA could use some more fresh tropical notes to increase the enjoyment.

L: Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin white head that fades quickly.
S: Citrus and pine on the nose with hints of grass.
T: Lemon is the most dominant flavor. A bit of grass and pine come through as well.
F: Medium carbonation with a fluffy mouthfeel.
O: A good lemony IPA. Tonewood has been a favorite of mine lately.

a: hazy dark yellow color with a hint of vibrant cooper and orange. slick 1/2 finger bright white head. a real nice looking beer
s: juicy pineapple, sweet creamsicle, vanilla, orange, tangerines, sweet melons and a touch of sweet sugar. a hint of tart strawberry at the end
t: pineapple and grapefruit upfront. grass, vanilla, orange peel, guava, and pine. passionfruit and creamsicle ice cream in here as well. more pineapple and crackers to close it out
m: medium mouthfeel that is slightly chewy. moderate carbonation (heavier than many others in the style I've had)
o: an ok beer. aroma is better than the taste, but it's still not too bad

16 ounce can in an oversized nonic style glass. Just over 30 days of youth, in its prime.
Poured a whitewashed unfiltered pale yellow color. The cap is 1F of white fluff, it holds steady and leaves a fair amount of lacing.
Being yellow in color, the lemon aroma suits the look. Earthiness, tropical and stone fruits, pale malt.
Mix of lemon citrus and tropical and stone fruits. Pineapple, apricot, lemongrass, melon.
The body follows the look, too. It's light and hoppy. Very clean finish.
A solid mosaic hop offering. Light, yet the 6.5% abv plays. In an era of over the top beer names, the simplicity of "Monotone" rules.

Thinnish head but bright white and fresh, lacing surprisingly long. While the liquid is certainly hazy and semi-opaque at least it doesn’t look like purée, some brightness to the yellow color and you can see a few bubble beads. The nose comes across as lean and linear, very focused lemon pith, mown grass, coal tar, pine sap, dried out pineapple and papaya bits, pleasing energy but it lacks breadth. Medium-bodied, sort of fluffy at first, contours firm up as it gets drier. Melon, peach, pineapple fruit flavorful in the face of the dryness. The citrus all but dominates any dankness, grassiness. Mild tarriness and some maltiness on the back end. Maybe, uhh, a little too monotone for me. But appreciate the chance to visit/revisit single hop brews to get a better sense of their innate character.
