Last rating was 2023. Not sure if this has been updated. The can reads 'mono.citra,' with completely different artwork.
Untapped has the updated name and can. (Edit: I uploaded current can)
Anyway, it's good. It's all Citra with a nice fluffy oat base. Lots of ripe, syrupy sweet orange, grapefruit, a little lemon zing. Good kiss of dank and bitterness, all balanced with good malt base.
As with all IPAs, definitely improved big time over the hour as it warmed up.

Fluffy pour from a pint can into a clear glass liter mug is the first observation. Maybe it's oates this time, but the bulk of the starch body surely can't be barley malt. The foam is stark white. receding quickly and unevenly. It leaves only sporadic glass lacing. Below lies a murky blond amber liquid, another reason to suspect oats in the wort. The smell isn't overpowering, as there's only some vague starchiness and hopping. The taste is pleasant enough, with the hops giving a mild dose of citrus-like bitterness and the malt/oat infusion providing a decent starch balance within a solid body. There is nothing outstanding here, save the overall comfortable way this goes down. But, more importantly, there's nothing wrong here. Flavorful, but only mildly so and also with a nice body, this isn't very difficult to down quickly. On the other side, there's nothing interesting or unique about it. It's nice.

Tonewood Brewing "Monotone - Citra"
16 fl oz can coded "HAPPY PHALL TOUR! CITRA 11/27/19"
$3.99 @ Roger Wilco, Pennsauken, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Let's try to make this one quick. Cloudy yellow body beneath a two inch tall head of slightly off-white foam. Excellent head retention. Clear, bright Citra aroma with lots of pungency. Raspy and "green" with notes of resin, melon, grass, gooseberry, and pine. The flavor brings in apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, lychee, grapefruit, and lemon/lime, Keep in mind that these flavors are not all bright, but they're there. I tried to put them in the order in which I find them the strongest but everyone is different and you might find things differently. The malt is basic and doesn't intrude, and the bitterness is restrained as well - the idea is to leave it as a springboard to show off the hop flavors and aromas. In the mouth it's light-medium, or medium-light in body, however you want to look at it, and gently crisp then smooth across the tongue. Surprisingly this is 6.5% alcohol by volume. If there's any fault here it's that the lacing is just OK. It still makes it to a 4 out of 5, but it's borderline in getting there. Another thing you might want to say is that despite the complexity within the hop flavors it's a bit one-sided. For what it is, however, you certainly can't fault it in rating it, After about 8 ounces you might want something that's got more complexity throughout the whole brew, but as a showcase for the Citra hops I can't see it getting much better than this.
