Notes via stream of consciousness: I love when breweries give you information on the label. This is brewed with 2-Row, Pilsner, Malted Oats, Malted Wheat, Torrified Wheat, Rolled Oats, Carafoam, and Acidulated malts - wow! The hops are Motueka and Simcoe, a combination that's hard to beat. It's poured a cloudy golden body beneath a two finger thick head of white. The aroma is bright and welcoming with sweetened grapefruit, passionfruit, and soft pine. The flavor is even more complex with additional notes of apple, orange, sweet berries, earthiness, and lime. The malt is sweetish and both the wheat and oats are clear. A median bitterness balances it, and although it's not listed on the label I'm going to guess it's between 40 and 50 IBUs. It finishes dry with some lime, a touch of soft pine, and a mild spiciness & earthiness lingering. At 6.5% ABV you wouldn't expect any alcohol to show and it doesn't. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth with a fine-bubbled, seemingly natural carbonation. The head held up well and it's left some very nice lacing about the glass. I grabbed a 4-pack of this and I'm glad I did. It's very well balanced and rounded, refined, and highly drinkable. Also, I should just note that it's brewed with solar energy and recaptured CO2. They've really upped their game since opening the new facility and I think I'm going to have to go back and re-review the beers that I'd done earlier.
