The pint can contents emptied entirely into a clear glass liter mug shows a hazy lightly apricot-amber colored brew. There's an abundance of off-white head that quickly receded to a sustaining proper head. Generously fragrant, it smells like a good modern American IPA, just lacking that certain quality only barely malt can provide. But, there's enough barley included, so this isn't bad at all. Along with the complex starches, there's some alcohol and floral hopping to be had by the nose. The body is supple and soft, as there are oats in the wort. The alcohol is present within the taste, but it's not detrimental. Its hop character is a little vague, not biting enough to be overtly piney or citrusy, but sort of a combination thereof. Overall, this is a decent, but undistinguished modern American Imperial IPA that delivers a good dose of alcohol unoffesively. It's not good enough to seek out, nor one to avoid.

16 ounce can in an imperial pint glass. Just about a month of existence, fresh.
Cloudy golden orange colored liquid with a bright white 1-plus F cap. The drop leaves a lasting film and foamy lacing.
Pine, citrus, and a punch of tropical fruits led by pineapple. After a few sips the obligatory DIPA onion aroma makes its way, otherwise clean and pleasant.
Light bread malt with fruit juice spread. The malt flavor holds up to the strong tropical fruit flavors; pineapple, mango, pomegranate. A touch of lemon and mint flavors.
It’s juicy and that lightens the body but makes it drinkable at 8% abv. A pinch of hop bitterness.
Another jumper on the juice bomb bandwagon. The aroma carried this one for me.
