We brewed Sown with 65% malted wheat from Rabbit Hill Malthouse and 35% German Pilsner malt for a wonderfully straw-colored beauty of a beer.
We then laid upon that ancestral platform some of our favorite fruit forward hops. Huell Melon in the kettle, Huell Melon and Idaho 7 in the whirlpool, and dry hopped with Sabro and Idaho 7.
Springing forth is a fantastic interplay between the hops and the traditional banana characteristics German Hefeweizen yeast with notes of early-season strawberry, pineapple, tangelo, and a hint of coconut.
