Mexican-style lager. Nearly amber colour little head. Fizzy carbonated mouth feel. Crisp, pils like. Little to no aftertaste. Good flavour for a 4.5 ABV lager. No lime or citrus like some Mexican-style lagers. Very refreshing. Good summer session beer.

This was from Aldi, which mostly sells brands no one else sells, maybe their house brands.
My favorite beer is Dos Equis Ambar. The Covista isn't quite as good as Dos Equis, but it isn't bad, and it costs less.
Wife says I have no taste buds. Sometimes that comes in handy.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my fridge and decided to pop this beer open. It's got a nice, full flavor that to me is almost reminiscent of a lighter Fin du Mond (a Belgian Tripel which is also my favorite beer of all time). Definitely worth checking out!

L: Light amber color, 1 inch off white head that dissipates quickly, no lacing
S: Malts
T: Sweet maltiness, little to no hops
F: Light, very carbonated
O: I like this one. Reminds me of Negra Modelo.

12oz undated twist off brown bottle poured into a shaker pint at fridge temp 4.5% ABV. The beer pours bright light amber with steady carbonation bubbling up and off white head. The head recedes to a pencil thin ring and island, but hangs in much longer than most macros. The aroma is mild with clean cereal grain. The taste is more straight forward corn and pale malt with a hint of sulfur and diacetyl. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with above average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, an affordable and tasty alternative to Corona & Modelo with no pesky clear glass bottles...
I did chuck a lime slice in with my last half a glass and it reacts the same as any "Mexican style" I've had in that combo. Adds some brightness and smoothes out any little defects. Good AAL.
