Pastry-this, hazy-that, it's nice to have a beer that sometimes tastes kinda like beer. Salt Face Mule gets back to basics and gives drinker's a security blanket for the tastebuds- beer flavored beer.
Bright gold and teeming with bubbles, a frothy white crown adorns the rim along with a floral, spicy and bight scent redolent with honeysuckle and fresh baking bread. Malt sweetness carries onto the tongue with notions of light bread, light biscuit and a dash of powdered sugar. Sweetness turns to herbal hops as its floral upstart trends earthy and bitter with fresh greens, herbal grasses and a peppery balance to finish.
Bright, refreshing and medium bodied for pale lager, this clean version is a welcomed beer among craft aficionados and swill seekers alike.
