500ml bottle from Guildhall Taphouse, Derry (£5):
Black with a bubbly beige head that settles as a thin surface lacing. It's smoky on the nose with a coffee bitterness, strong roasted & hints of chocolate. Oatmeal & smoked flavours with roasted malts dominate the taste but surprisingly the body is on the thin side of things, with a smoky bitterness to finish.
