Our Magpie Irish Stout is brewed with notes of coffee and toasted malt with a full body that goes down smooth and velvety. Named after the Australian cousin to the Raven, it’s perfect for raising a glass to a win on Sunday.

From a can purchased at the brewery, poured into a Nonic.
A dark pour with a 3-finger khaki colored head that leaves a little splotchy lacing.
The flavor is of very dark roasted caramelized malt that is a little Smokey, very dry. Blackstrap molasses and bitter chocolate flavor and hops bitterness provide a little tangy aftertaste.
From the perspective of someone who appreciates pleasantly dry and bitter beer, it’s very good.

5 oz pour on tap at the brewery. This is very flavorful for a 4.2% beer, with notes of bittersweet chocolate, coffee, and dark roasted malt along with light earthy hops. Full, creamy mouthfeel. Good stuff, and I wish I could have had a full pour.
