Poured on 3/31/2026 from a 16oz bottle into a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a bright gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, caramelized malts, some fruit, some spice and a faint touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel, candy sugar, apples, bananas and some spice. Then some breadiness comes in from Belgian yeast and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. There is very little trace of the 12.00% ABV and there is a mild hops presence creating a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down dangerously easy, not too filling, strong but well-disguised kick, good representation of style. This is a solid beer to sip on for a while if you’re in the mood for the style.
