From the half liter bottle, it pours a slightly hazy (or possibly clear - hard to tell) mahogany color with a very nice, long lasting, off-white head. The nose gets some roasted and caramel malts, along with hops. The mouth follows, with some bitterness coming through and a nice malt base. Mouthfeel is nice, with a light bitterness continuing after you swallow.
