Green & Cold XPA
Take a big hit of inspiration from a cold, fresh can of Matilda XPA! Named after our international women’s football team (all hail our Minister for Defence, Mackenzie Arnold!), this super crisp, ultra-crushable coldie is fine-tuned for the ultimate in refreshment – with all profits going towards our local charity partner, the Central West Women’s Health Centre.

I purchased this one at Blackheart and Sparrows in Geelong West in October 2024 and drank it a few weeks later.
L: Hazy, light lemony yellow with a frothy, bright-white head. A few large bubbles can be seen working their way up the glass.
S: Lemony, citrusy pith and peel jump out of the glass, with a touch of stonefruit.
T: The beer is spritzy in the mouth, with citrus and stonefruit dominating the hop body. There's a malt base in there somewhere, but the hops are the undoubted stars of this show.
M: The body of the beer is full and smooth. The carbonation is light, but there's quite a carbonic kick on the swallow.
O: This is a very fruity, crushable XPA that demands a hot day for peak enjoyment.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
