Often on the shelves at the local Edeka, I finally picked up a half liter bottle, which was dated best by JUL 24. Labeled as a “Helles Vollbier”, this is a pretty typical Helles. And by that I mean pretty tasty. The classic grainy, barny, earthy, grassy nose and flavor. A bit of sweetness and hint of hops in the finish. Super smooth and easy drinking. Quite good, would likely buy again.
