Bottle purchased and drank at Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City, Mexico.
This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells malty and astringent, and not of much else.
This is most certainly a mediocre West Coast IPA if I’ve tried one. Maltiness is the main feature, with very little interesting hop character – just a sort of stale bitter astringency.
This is light bodied, not super drinkable, and just forgettable.
This got the job done in terms of loosening me up pre flight – it’s nerve wracking flying on a Boeing. It did not get the job done in terms of tasting good, though.
