Badisch Brauhaus

We stopped by accident more or less, we sat at their beergarden which is "interesting", it is also a hotel and the building has funny shapes and faces. I think it wanted to be a little like Huntewasser in Viena. Anyway, they brew their own beer, which is ok, but not fantastisk. Their food is not worth going there.

The Badisch Brewpub is a large brewpub in the basement of a hotel on the edge of the busy shopping district. Very large, they describe themselves as an indoor bier garten and have about 30 large tables. The typical bar area is nearly as big. There is a lower level, closed when I was there, nearly as spacious, and a third level below that. The brewing operation is glassed in at the back of the main bar. They have two year round beers on tap as well as a seasonal. The beers seem true to style, good, but not wonderful. The afternoon beer special each day is a full litre for E3.00.
