Hop the Griffin Brew Pub & Wine Bar

Tucked away from the busy street with a shared parking lot out front, with other businesses on each side. English pub vibe with a low ceiling, textured walls, and a wood slat floor with floor tile around the bar and kitchen area. Straight bar with a few stools, with other seating at high tables along with a few low tables. Small alcove with an outdoor view through windows. Outdoor patio to one side through doors. Decor includes hanging coats of arms and a griffin statue. Three TVs showing sports and a good sound system. Pool table in one corner. Ten beers on tap of standard styles, plus full liquor service, cocktails, and wine. Kitchen on site serving food. Staff is low key and helpful. Pleasant and handsome place for a stop by.

A hidden gem of a little place in a small shopping plaza on the southeast side of town. Short straight bar somewhat opposite the entrance seats about 8 with a few tables about the room. 10 beers on tap. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender/brewer. I did not try the food.
