Pours an effervescent honey color with 2 fingers of eggshell colored head. Better than average head retention & lacing
S: Oranges, cakeyness. Cattyness never shows in the nose, weird, minor deduction for that
T: Follows the nose, plenty of cattyness & a little pine up front. Mineral dryness, grapefruit & woody/piney/catty bitterness as this beer warms up. Finishes with grapefruit & pine, some catty notes on the edges
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, good balance
If you like them catty/dank, this WCIPA is for you. I was hoping for a little more citrus balance, but very easy to drink
