Pours an effervescent honey/amber color with a pinky of fast-falling beige head. Viscous, minimal head retention & some lacing
S: Some sour mash& honey; nose stays great throughout the pour
T: Follows the nose, rich sweety honey, oakyness & hints of Bourbon up front, some leafy hops. Oak, vanilla, honey & a little toffee as this beer warms up, some booze bite, some woody hops too. Dry rich, oaky finish with honey & treacle & a solid sour mash kiss
A good, interesting offering, due to the cray/cray price; one & done. Barrel aging is well done on this one
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, some warming
