Poured from a 12 oz can into a Willi Becher Glass
The beer pours a clear amber/copper color with about two fingers worth of foamy white head that slowly recedes leaving behind very little lacing
The aroma is bready and toasty and just slightly tart, with a mild caramel/toffee sweetness. There is also a slightly metallic aroma that is throwing me off.
The flavor is bready and toasty, but I don't get any of the tartness I detected in the aroma. The caramel/toffee sweetness is done with a light touch, but the metallic aroma is also present in the flavor and severely limits my enjoyment of the beer. Medium/light bodied and mildly carbonated.
overall the beer is not bad, but between the metallic and tart aromas, and the metallic notes carrying over into the flavor I am having a hard time rating this highly.
