The description of this beer is:
"Brewed in the tradition of a classic Czechoslovakian Pilsner. This golden colored lager really makes an impression with the bitterness, flavor, and aromatic character of the indigenous Czech Saaz hop."
The beer arrived at the table slightly hazy pale straw with a frothy white head which lasted to lace the glass.
The aroma was fruity and lightly malty with no hop aroma.
The flavor was malty and fruity with some caramel malt flavor. The fruitiness was very much that of an ale. The bittering was very low. Some diacetyl flavor emerged as the beer warmed.
The finish was just off-dry with lasting frutiness long into the aftertaste. The body was medium. The beer was just a bit too sweet and more like a pale ale. It would be avg as a pale ale, but just not well done for a pils.
